Venus
von Schluensee
DE1996222371
-
Being my best
horse she has brought me so much joy and she would never be sold if I didn’t
move to New Zealand this year.
Venus is a very
healthy and beautiful big black mare with very long mane and tale.
She is a very reliable 5 gaited horse which is safe and fun to be with and
to ride alone or in a group. Her price depends on how much equipment would
go with her as I also sell her tack, saddle, rugs and a very nice
lightweight trailer. Please call

 Lyfting
from Solva GB2006234001 -
2006 mare by Drífandi from Oakwood (son of
World Champion in 4 gait) out of
Ísafold frá Gili. Lyfting is a beautiful, gentle, friendly chestnut
skewbald mare, average size (about
13.1hh), four gaited with tölt that's easy to find for any rider,
even a novice 9 year old girl.
She's now hacking out quietly,
snaffle-mouthed, a real confidence giver and a
pleasure to ride. Lyfting is very laid back, a real old head on
young shoulders, and incredibly bombproof - we´ve not found anything she´s
scared of yet!
She has potential for competition (her grandfathers on both
sides were
World Champions in 4-gait, her paternal grandma was best 4 year old mare at
the '94 Landsmot, her mother was IHSGB Youth champion and did well
in competition in Iceland) and will make someone a really lovely
riding horse. Lyfting has bags of presence, and is good to catch, box, shoe, in
any traffic etc. She loves people and cuddles. She was started last
spring and has been ridden quietly on over all sorts of terrain. She´s grown up naturally
in the herd and is good with horses of any age and either sex, and
she´s had a fantastic foal we are keeping. Fully registered and microchipped, with IHS
passport, no sweet itch shown (not in her parents or siblings
either). Regularly wormed, hoof-trimmed etc. Pembrokeshire - transport
could be arranged at cost. Contact Mic on

Diddi
fran Nyhammar SE2006106329 - 2006 Gelding 13.3" Bay with a
small star. Diddi is a true gentleman, reliable, sweet natured and loves
attention. He is brilliant in traffic, good with other horses, dogs and
young children. Hacks out alone or in company. Diddi is 4 gaited and tolt is
started but needs some work to make it flow nicely. Easy to load. Regularly
shod and wormed. A happy, healthy, young horse with no signs of sweet itch.
This is a very sad sale of a much loved horse. I am selling as I do not have
the time that Diddi deserves. £3,500 inc saddle, bridle and turn out rugs.

Lokkur
fra Ytri-Baegisa 11
IS2001165391 - Tall handsome 5 gaited piebald
gelding born in 2001 looking for a special home at a special price! Lokkur
is easy to handle, box, shoe, catch etc and a real gentleman. He is fine to
ride in an enclosed area, arena, manege etc but after having a fright on the
open hillside he just can’t relax when out hacking. We have too many horses
to train and not enough time to spend on him and he needs time and a good
home, hence first £1000 secures. More details from
Jill on 07836 729988
(Edinburgh area).

Sveipur (pronounced Sweypur)
GB2006100715
Sveipur is around 13hh or maybe 13.1hh, but he is very well
put together, a compact horse who would be able to carry happily up
to around 12 or 13 stone. He is a complete tolt machine, but his
trot and canter are also very easy to get. He is light in the mouth,
positive in the mind and his ears are nearly always pointing
forwards. He has seen a bit of traffic and been out in the lorry.
He is very straight forwards and a complete delight to handle and
ride. He has competed this summer and was placed in both his
classes. £3500. Carmarthenshire. Contact

*PRICE
REDUCED* Sessa
frá Langárfossi IS1996236877
is a beautiful Blue Dun Silver
Dapple mare from Iceland. She’s a mighty 12.2 and has bags of
character. She is 4 gaited however her tolt isn’t strong but with
time and work it will come on nicely. She isn’t for a novice as she
can be strong and gets excited however she is safe and a lot of fun.
She is good to shoe, box, clip, catch. She hacks alone or in
company, in front or behind. Fine with all traffic types, dogs,
bikes etc… She’s snaffle mouthed and is very soft. She is wonderful
to school and can do all basic movements. She does have mild sweet
itch but a rug and fly spray controls this. She has had one foal and
he is also blue dun and stunning so she could produce nice babies.
She is only for sale as she's a little to much for my mum and I'm
concentrating more on competition. It’s a very sad sale of a much
loved horse. £3500 inc saddle, bridle, turnout rugs and sweet itch
rugs. Contact Cornelia on 07715567987. Hampshire

Kara
Lind
frá Nornabæli NL2005200068
is 14hh 6 years old and 5 gaited.
She has a wonderful laid back nature and isn’t fazed by anything.
She will hack alone or in company and will go in front or behind
happily. Not fussed if the horse in front goes off she will just
carry on walking unless asked other wise. She is 110% shoes, load,
clip, catch and with the vet. Great in traffic and used to joggers,
cyclists, dogs and children. She enjoys jumping and has attended
courses, shows and fun rides. Kara only ever aims to please and has
given me back all my confidence from a nasty fall and it's a very
sad sale. She is only for sale as my mum has been riding her but
just does not have the time she thought she would have and I'm busy
with exams. I'm more than happy for her to go on 2 weeks trial and
open to vetting. £5400 inc all her rugs and tack. Contact Cornelia

Confidence giver wanted on loan either long term
or with view to buy. We are in need of a confidence giving,
forward-going mount to help our young mare with hacking out & be the
general steady rock around the place. Preferably on loan for a year
with view to buy as we are also bringing up a youngster or two for
whom, having a steady rock about the farm would be fantastic. Mare
or gelding, we aren't fussed, it's personality that counts, age up
to 14 (the journey to here to Fair Isle we split over a few days so
we feel older horses may find it hard going if they aren't all that
fit) sweet itch more than welcome as there are no midges here to
worry about. Must be barefoot or willing to go barefoot due to lack
of farrier up here, we keep our horses using pasture paradise
systems and natural trimming methods so we really take care of our
tootsies from the inside to outside. Fantastic home with other
horses (and some daft shetlands) , great hacking, much spoiling &
fussing over and no more sweet itch. Please contact
Angela on 01595
