Von
(meaning Hope) is sadly for sale. She is tall (around 14.1hh), very
beautiful, and proud. 10 years old this spring, she is four gaited
with a very easy, natural and clean tölt (slow to fast speed). She
is steady and brave, forward going but with excellent brakes. Easy
to ride, on her own or with company (though she is still getting
used to trees and bushes so is a little suspicious of those at the
moment - after all, in Iceland trolls live in them). She was
imported recently and travelled very well, settled in with the herd
straight away and has been out and seen the traffic and such. We
found a log in the woods and by the way she went into it and jumped
it (with plenty to spare), I am sure she would make a profficient
jumper. She is steady enough for the nervous rider, fun enough for
the more experienced rider, her tölt is good enough for competition
and in many respects the perfect horse. Price £6500.00.

Óðin
from Solva - red
dun colt with huge flaxen mane and tail, white face, four white socks, and incredible
blue eyes with black eyeliner. Still entire,
with good conformation. Born 2005 in Solva, Óðin is a beautiful
boy with a long neck and high action. He´s grown up with his mum and all the
other horses for the first 12 months of his life, since then he´s lived in a
batchelor herd on a large Nature Reserve (he's been regularly foot-trimmed and wormed,
of course). He´s sure-footed and
independent, curious and fun to have around. He will be medium sized, and
probably 4-gaited. He has good movements in all the gaits.

Lukka
fra Syðstu-Görðum is ready to find a new home. Black and white mare,
aged 9, five gaited. See her story in the last issue of Sleipnir!
Lukka is friendly, clever and thrives on work. She loves jumping,
shows and happy hacking alone or in company, and would be a
tremendous prospect for endurance and Trec. Easy to catch, box, shoe
etc. She has had great fun with Fiona and has also been ridden by
other people ranging from pre-school to retired! She is currently
teaching Fiona's friend to ride but she does need an experienced
home. She has had two outbreaks of sweet itch but this is easily
controlled with a Pagony rug (included in sale!). Sad sale as Fiona
is moving into oval track competition. £3600. Tel.

Freya (born
1996) is a gorgeous bay dun and white eleven year old skewbald mare
(left).
She is daughter of (m) Lise from Garry Gualach and (f) Skorri from
Pentland Hills. She’s been backed but due to lack of time
desperately needs bringing on. She is independent, intelligent,
strong and extremely willing. She has a very slightly twisted front
left fetlock which results in her hoof turning in very slightly –
this does not impair her movement. Lise winters easily in tough
conditions and is sweet itch free. She has never been shod.£2,900.
