Red dun with a star and flaxen mane/tail, very tall and well built and with exceptional movements. Rather shy, but curious and very sweet. Sölvi has real stallion or competition potential. He should make a tall, strong horse and appears to be 4-gaited.

• Bíl from Mill Lane (GB2005269011), blue dun mare born 2005, now ready to start. By Dropi out of Lilya from Mill Lane. Bíl is very inquisitive, friendly, easy to catch and absolutely bombproof – nothing fazes her at all! We have no idea whether she is 4 or 5 gaited but she appears to have lovely paces when we watch her in the field. She has been brought up as naturally as possible, running out in a herd with the other three horses. She has no sweet-itch and is a good size.  We would really like her to go to an experienced Icelandic horse person who will bring out her potential. She is only very sadly for sale as my daughter and I simply don´t have time to do her justice. As my daughter Katy says, ‘It’s got to be someone nice or we’re not selling her!’ £3500 ono. • Confidence giver wanted on loan either long term or with view to buy. We are in need of a confidence giving, forward-going mount to help our young mare with hacking out & be the general steady rock around the place. Preferably on loan for a year with view to buy as we are also bringing up a youngster or two for whom, having a steady rock about the farm would be fantastic. Mare or gelding, we aren't fussed, it's personality that counts, age up to 14 (the journey to here to Fair Isle we split over a few days so we feel older horses may find it hard going if they aren't all that fit) sweet itch more than welcome as there are no midges here to worry about. Must be barefoot or willing to go barefoot due to lack of farrier up here, we keep our horses using pasture paradise systems and natural trimming methods so we really take care of our tootsies from the inside to outside. • Húni frá Ólafsvöllum (IS1995187860) - 15 year old gelding with exceptional breeding. Imported from Iceland and owned by 16 year old for the past 5 years. He has qualified for the A finals at the British Championships for the past 5 years.In the 2006 British Championships he was 5 gait combination winner as well as the judges’ favourite horse. Laura also took him to the Dutch championships and qualified for the A final in 5 gait. In 2007 Laura represented Great Britain with him at the World Championships in the 5 gait and pace test. In 2008 Laura took him to the FEIF Youth Cup and came 2^nd in the 5 gait, 5^th in the dressage and pace test. At the British championships last year she won the speed pace and won the 5 gait with an average mark of 6.11. Húni is a brilliant horse as school master for someone to start to compete in FIPO 4 gait, 5 gait and T1 and also for experienced riders; he has certainly taught Laura a great deal.
